Senior Data Engineer

KayHut is achieving the unbelievable daily. We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our cyber defense group and take ownership of a cutting-edge data solution. In this role, you will join our teams of data engineers, developers, and researchers who design and develop innovative solutions for our customers' most critical needs.


Responsibilities

  • Leading the design, architecture, implementation, and support of large-scale data pipelines and processing flows.
  • Collaborating with researchers to analyze, model, and deeply understand diverse data sources.
  • Providing technical insights on database technology and data modeling best practices.
  • Ensuring data integrity and optimization, managing analysis flows with high responsibility and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Python.
  • Strong experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (including Elastic Search and Splunk).
  • Deep understanding of containerized environments and infrastructure (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes) and Linux environments.
  • Experience working with CI/CD methodologies (e.g., GitLab).
  • Proven experience in processing, manipulating, and optimizing large-scale data sets.


Advantages

  • Previous experience in the cybersecurity industry and/or service in elite IDF technology units.
  • Experience with Java and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience with NiFi, Airflow, Trino, AWS.
