Senior DevOps Engineer

About The Position

Kayhut is achieving the unbelievable, daily. We are looking for a passionate senior DevOps engineer with a can-do approach to join our DevOps team. The DevOps team is responsible for writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating the provisioning of infrastructure, allowing our R&D teams to meet their ambitions goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements from our R&D partners (product, developers) and implement solutions.
  • Create and enhance existing solutions, automate workflows, orchestrate tasks and deploy applications while ensuring the reliability and performance of our services.
  • Continuously review current technology infrastructure and processes to identify potential improvements or optimizations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
  •  Lead and mentor junior DevOps team members
  •  Operate with a DevOps Mindset that promotes collaboration, communication and transparency.
  •  Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains robust and modern.

Technical Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and supporting DevOps with an in-depth understanding of DevOps Processes/tools.
  • Comfortable working in an on-premise environment
  •  Experience with designing, implementing pipeline automation and orchestration utilizing the following stack or similar: GitLab, Maven, Nexus, Artifactory
  • Hands-on experience in building and handling VM’s, Containers utilizing tools like Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, etc.
  •  Proficiency and hands-on experience in monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
  •  Demonstrate scripting experience (Shell, Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Strong command of the Linux environment
  • Experience writing ansible playbooks (or equivalent)
  • Strong general system administration skills and comfort on the command line.
  •  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  •  Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  •  Customer service orientation
  •  Auto-deduct and self-learner.


  •  Experience with SCRUM framework
